Questions, answered
Is it really nothing to pay upfront?
Yes. Book online, we email you a prepaid, insured Australia Post label within an hour. You print it, stick it on a box, drop at any post office — nothing to pay today. You only ever pay if you approve the repair.
What does shipping cost?
Nothing upfront. If you approve the repair, a flat $100 shipping — covering both ways (send + return) and fully insured — is added to your final invoice on top of the repair price. If we can't fix it, you're offered a free trade-in and pay nothing.
How does payment work?
You only pay after we diagnose and you approve the fixed quote. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay via a secure link (Stripe → our NAB account).
What if it can't be fixed?
Two options, you pick when you book: (1) Trade it in — free: we keep the console for parts, send you a trade-in offer in cash or store credit. (2) Mail it back: pay our standard $88 service fee plus return postage, we ship it back as-is.
How long does the whole process take?
Three tiers: Standard (no rush fee): 3-8 business days door-to-door from capitals. Express Post (+$49): 2-4 days, workshop within 24hrs of arrival. Express Workshop (+$129): 1-3 days — same-calendar-day workshop turnaround when it arrives by 11am AEST, plus Express Post Platinum both ways. Full state-by-state turnaround guide here.
How long do I have to approve the quote?
7 days to approve, 14 days to pay an approved invoice. After 30 days no response, the console becomes our property — covers diagnostic + inbound shipping cost. Full terms on the how it works page.
What's the warranty?
3-month workmanship warranty on all repairs — if our work fails, ever, we re-do it. Our TMR stick upgrades use magnetic tunnel sensors with no contact wear, so the sticks themselves are immune to drift.
Do you do board-level work?
Yes. Micro-soldering, BGA reflow, component-level repair — HDMI ports, PI3USB, power ICs, the lot. We don't just swap parts. That's the difference between proper Xbox repair and a phone-shop part swap.
